Problems

  • Severe leaks in roofing and metal gutters
  • Portions of steel deck in need of replacement

  • Removed portions of the original BUR system to repair or replace deteriorated steel decking
  • Removed and replaced gutters and flashing
  • Installation of new Bayer/GE polyurethane roofing System

The federal government has not used this building since WWII.  The decision was made to repair the building and not demolish it which saved the Government millions of dollars by preserving the existing structure.  The new Bayer/GE roofing system used in the reconstruction will serve the owner for many years.
