Solution

Building #301

  • Removed deteriorated wood and replaced with same to maintain historic appearance
  • Removed and replaced copper gutters and flashing
  • Installation of new Bayer/GE polyurethane roofing System

 


Building #298

  • Removed deteriorated wood and replaced with same to maintain historic appearance
  • Removed and replaced copper gutters and flashing
  • Installed new GAF Shingle Roof System

Both buildings have been neglected since the Coast Guard left the island years ago. The State and City of New York are now the Owners and are in the process of restoring all historic buildings on this island. Some of the buildings date back as far as the late 1700's. The Owner, Turner Construction and Hygrade take enormous pride in being part of the restoration of this historic landmark.
